In response to the legislated environmental
directives being instituted throughout the world, Data Tech USA has
established a comprehensive program to assure product compliance with
these new requirements.
At present, the most notable of these
directives is that of the European Community “RoHS” (Restriction of the
use of certain Hazardous Substances). Effective July 1, 2006, RoHS
legislation restricts the use of 6 hazardous substances used in the
production of electronic products.
Data Tech USA has
substantially invested in a concerted and timely effort to comply with
these environmental directives and can therefore fully satisfy these
requirements.
